Improve and Protect Your Car's Appearance
The exterior of your car can be damaged during the winter due to rain, snow, hail, etc. Here are some things you can do to safeguard your car from any such damage.
- When not in use, keep your car in a garage or carport.
- Waxing your car before the winter arrives can help protect its exterior surface.
- In winter, wash your car as often as possible to remove dirt, road salt, and other impurities and protect it from scratches and rust.
- If you can get your car waxed during the winter months, do it as well.
- When you see a scratch or ding, get it repaired and repainted as soon as possible.
- Keep your car's underbody and wheel wells clean, and have the undercoating touched up to protect that area from road dirt and slush.
- Waxing also protects wheels from corrosion that causes pitting.
